Thomas named president of Better Business Bureau
of Central Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS (Friday, Sept. 25, 2009) – William J. Thomas has been named president of the Better Business Bureau of Central Indiana.

Thomas joins the BBB from Kosene and Kosene Development Co. in Indianapolis, where he was vice president of sales and marketing for Kosene and Kosene Residential Inc., a division of the company charged with developing upscale, urban condominiums primarily in the Indianapolis market.

Previously, he held various management positions during eight years with ATA Airlines, including director of sales and distribution, director of vacations sales and marketing and director of strategic planning. Prior, he was association manager and marketing director at Dominion Management Services in Indianapolis and a senior business analyst at Accenture in Indianapolis.

"Bill has a proven history of leading large-scale, customer-focused sales and marketing initiatives and we're pleased to welcome him to the Better Business Bureau," said Jeff McKinley, president of the BBB's board of directors. "He is a strong motivator, a creative thinker and has a strong background in strategic decision-making and leadership."

Originally from Indianapolis, Thomas graduated Avon High School then earned an undergraduate degree in business administration at Valparaiso University and a master's degree in marketing from Indiana University.

He and wife Kelly, a physical therapist with Hendricks Regional Health, reside in Plainfield with seven-year-old twins Sam and Payton.
